Our team is completing the final construction works in the basement premises of Post Office 1930, and Košice can soon look forward to a monument that has been restored with sensitivity and respect.

After the completion of construction works on section B, life has returned to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the historic building. The administrative premises are now fully serving PENTA HOSPITALS.

We continue with the works on both the interiors and exteriors of Post Office 1930. Demolition, tiling, plastering, and HVAC installations are being carried out. In the surrounding area, work is underway on the parking lot, and the roof renovation is also in progress.

At Post Office 1930, we are starting with the restoration of the building façade. In the interiors of section B, drywall constructions, single-layer plasters, and anhydrite screeds are being carried out.

After completing section C, our company continues with section B, which is the largest of the entire building complex and also the most significant, as it is the building where postal services are still in operation today. Reconstruction works will continue here on both the exterior and interior.

In the first phase, interior demolition works on floors and walls were carried out. The newly created elements were made in accordance with the original design. The basement premises were completely insulated using modern waterproofing methods, the façade was cleaned and restored to its original appearance, and the roof was newly constructed with materials imitating the original copper covering. Traditional techniques were used for the reconstruction of elements such as entrance doors, railings, floors, and others, in order to preserve the building’s originally intended architectural style.
